Mechatronics engineer (m/f/d)

Mechatronic engineers construct mechanical, electrical and electronic components, assemble them into complex systems, install control software and perform maintenance on the systems.
Their tasks are in the areas of mechanics, electronics and information technology.

Tasks at RIEGER include reading circuit diagrams, constructional drawings and operating instructions as well as linking, adjusting and programming of mechnical, eletrical and electronical components.
This will be done either in process of production at Rieger or with installation of plants on the customers‘ premises.
Also part of the tasks is the start-up of completed plants as well as the inspection of plants and customer service with regard to mechatronic systems.

Construction mechanic (m/f/d)

Construction mechanics manufacture modules of all sorts. What makes this job especially interesting is, that even with modern technology a high degree of craft skills is required.

Construction mechanics at RIEGER manufacture single components used for valve assembly, which are part of food production and filling plants.
 In their apprenticeship, construction mechanics assemble and disassemble modules. They also manufacture single components according to technical drawings and parts lists while applying welding procedures.
They communicate with up- and downstream sectors and tackle complex tasks as a team.

    Industrial clerks support all commercial procedures of the company.
    Depending on field of activity you will advise customers, procure raw materials and operating supplies, coordinate payment traffic or create payrolls. We will transfer knowledge to you in every central commercial area utilizing a number of apprenticeship-stations to make use of your personal aptitudes and talents. In line with this the apprenticeship covers a broad range of different areas.


    Following fields will be the main focus:

    • Materials management: purchasing, disposition, manufacturing control, warehousing and goods dispatch.
    • Production management: Manufacturing processes, organization of the manufacturing
    • Human resources: Recruitment, support and development of personnel
    • Sales management: Order processing

    Fitter for pipeline construction (m/f/d)

    Field of work:

    • Preparation and manufacturing of piping modules following drawings
    • Alignment – and calibration work as well as post-treatment of welded piping modules and components
    • Independent way of work following constructional drawings, welding plans and assembly plans
    • Measurement and amendment of single parts using respective measuring tools
    • Manufacturing of assistive tools and adjustment of components using conventional turning and milling machines
    • Tube necking and straightening
    • General assembly work


    Education and qualification:

    • Apprenticeship, ideally as construction mechanic
    • Several years of experience in the field of assembly work (ideally of piping modules)
    • Methodical and on-time way of working as well as a high degree of flexibility, diligence, determination and reliability

    Cutting machine operator (m/f/d)

    Cutting machine operators manufacture metallic components such as stainless steel valves and valve parts using cutting processes (lathing and milling). For this, they usually use CNC-controlled machine tools, which need to be operated and maintained.

    Cutting machine operators at RIEGER program the machine tools and document/monitor the production process.

Special seminars, which provide you with extra competencies and a confident appearance for your profession add value to this program.


      After only 3 years you’ll obtain your Bachelor’s degree. What are you waiting for?

        Foundry mechanic (m/f/d)

        Foundry mechanics with field of expertise in mould and machine mould casting are mostly working in medium to large-sized foundries.
        At RIEGER you will be working at melting plants, moulding plants, in core making and in the field of hand mould casting.

        Foundry mechanics will undergo their apprenticeship using the dual training system, at our company RIEGER in Aalen as well as at the vocational school Stuttgart.
        A shortened duration of the apprenticeship is possible if certain requirements are met.
